One of the most unique things about the Anglican church is that, without exception, membership is open to everyone. We adhere to that directive of the Episcopal Church at St. Philip’s. We do not have a formal membership process but instead consider, as members, all persons who agree to worship together with us, support the church in ministry and/or service, and help choose our leaders. Members also pledge their time and money to the church: there’s no minimum amount, just a willingness to commit to a regular contribution. If you’re interested in being recognized as a member of our church, please contact us, or talk to any member. You can join anytime.
We encourage potential members to share in the worship experience with us for at least 4 weeks and to listen to the stories of our members about why they are Episcopalian, documented in our site. If you decide to become a member we encourage you to take Confirmation classes if you have not already done so, and to visit with our priest and vestry members to learn more about this parish and the national church.
